“Clown in a Bathtub” is a limited-edition signed figurine sculpture signed in 24K gold plate. This sculpture is trimmed in 24K gold plate and is hand painted. It is glazed and sits in a bathtub filled with a clear resin that resembles water. It sits in a puddle of gold on an onyx base. Mr. Skelton obviously loved all images of Freddie the Freeloader. Mr. Skelton selected Ron Lee to translate his artwork into this beautiful sculpture. This is a very special work of art. It is hand painted and the edition has been retired. It was executed in 1984.
