“Cisco” is an original and unique oil painting hand-signed by the artist, humanitarian, actor, and comedian, Red Skelton. The image size of the painting is 20” x 16” and it is framed to a measurement of 26” x 22”. This work of art is a radical departure from the artist’s typical clown paintings. It is believed to be executed in 1970—1979. It is a cowboy-based painting with the image of Les Carillo who starred in the television series “The Cisco Kid”. Mr. Carillo appeared on many of the Red Skelton television shows, and the image of Mr. Carillo is featured in this painting. Mr. Carillo was a close friend of Red Skelton and Mr. Skelton captured him and his image on this canvas.
