“Blue Hat Clown” is a unique and original prismatic oil pencil drawing on a very special promotional poster featuring a Red Skelton concert performance on Saturday, October 11, at the Arena-Auditorium located in Casper, Wyoming. The drawing on the poster features the face of a clown in the form of an “R” which the artist incorporated into his cursive signature. The artist many times referred to this type of clown as a “stick clown.” The poster was personalized “To Steven Terry Lois Steven and Rebecca “Dear Hearts” and signed “Red Skelton 1987.”
