Ironing the Waves

“Ironing the Waves” is a unique, fully authorized, limited edition, porcelain plate, bearing two reproduced signatures of the artist, Red Skelton. One signature is on the front of the plate, and the other on the reverse.
This plate measures approximately 8” in diameter and is individually numbered. This porcelain plate was created in 1987 and was reproduced from an original painting of the same name by Mr. Skelton.
The reverse side of the plate bears a short quotation which reads the following:
“Ironing the Waves”
“Surfing is a lesson in life,
A board between you and fate,
Don’t get too sure or careless,
Or else you’ll become shark bait.”
