“Geisha” is an original, one-of-a-kind, unique pastel drawing on linen, hand signed by the internationally acclaimed artist, actor, and humanitarian, Red Skelton. The original linen drawing measures approximately 18” x 13” and is beautifully framed with an outside dimension of approximately 31” x 26” and is dated 1983. This artwork was framed using the highest quality of museum moldings. A rare and important photograph of Mr. Skelton holding the original art is displayed above. Mr. Skelton was always fascinated with Japanese culture and beauty. He frequently travelled to Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. He was fascinated by the traditions of Geisha. The unique Geisha which is featured in this drawing humbly served Mr. Skelton.
