“Happy Birthday Freddie” is an important, unique, one-of-a-kind original pastel and mixed media drawing on linen, hand-signed by the internationally recognized humanitarian, actor and artist, Red Skelton. This original work of art measures approximately 20” x 16” and is beautifully framed in museum quality materials. The artist dated the artwork “1983” beneath his signature in the lower left side of the artwork. Mr. Skelton loved to celebrate his birthday with his wife Lothian. They frequently flew to Hawaii to celebrate his birthday as thousands of fans and collectors gathered every year in Honolulu and on Maui to mark Red’s birthday. This original was drawn on a linen from the Royal Hawaiian Hotel—where Red and Lothian always stayed. This original is accompanied by a photo of Red holding the linen in the front yard of his home (facing the Tamarisk Golf Course) in Rancho Mirage. Perfect documentation of authenticity.
