"My Friend Lucy" is an original, one-of-a-kind prismatic oil pencil drawing on linen, hand- signed by the internationally acclaimed artist, Red Skelton. This unique work of art was painted as a tribute to Lucille Ball (“Lucy”) who was a close and dear friend of Red Skelton for more than fifty years. MGM studios in Hollywood affectionately referred to Lucille Ball and Red Skelton as their two “Red Heads,” who together represented President Franklin D. Roosevelt and the United States in the development of the March of Dimes. “My Friend Lucy” measures 18” x 17” and is superbly framed to a measurement of 30” x 30” using the highest quality of museum materials and standards.
