“Lady in Lace” is an original, unique, one-of-a-kind oil painting on canvas, hand-signed by the internationally recognized artist, actor, comedian, and philanthropist, Red Skelton. The painting features a lady in lace, whom Mrs. Skelton describes as Lucille Ball, Red Skelton’s best friend. Red and Lucy starred in movies together and was featured on Red’s television show, which ran from 1951—1972. “Lady in Lace” is a meticulously painted original oil taking the artist a lot of time featuring a lady dressed in lace, ready to go out for a party. She is a beautiful lady, with a hat also made of lace, and is portrayed as Red remembered her. It is obvious that Red loved Lucille Ball. The painting is framed in a museum custom moulding which measures 23” x 19”. It is beautifully framed.
